Both the book and the blog Razor Wire Women serve as excellent resources for teaching in universities and prisons. They would also be great selections for an activist reading group regarding feminism or prison issues.
Give your students assignments that require them to interact with this blog and post comments! We would love to directly engage them in dialogue about women and incarceration.
In an effort to share information and facilitate further use of the book and blog, we are providing examples of syllabi which use Razor Wire Women. If you would like to share your syllabi, lesson plans, or teaching ideas with us, please email us.
